  • Mission to Mars!

    Thu 05 Mar 2020

On Wednesday, Key Stage 2 were visited by Astronomer and Author Colin Stuart, who gave an inspirational assembly about going on a mission to Mars. The children were fascinated as Colin spoke to them about the conditions on Mars and about how astronauts prepare for space missions on the International Space Station. He highlighted how Neil Armstrong was 38 when he walked on the moon and how we are predicting that humans may be able to get to Mars in around 30 years time. Meaning that children in primary school right now could be the first people to walk on the red planet.

Thank you for everything you have done Mrs Francis. We will all miss you very much and we wish you happiness in your new home.

  • Fantastic Footballers!

    Tue 03 Mar 2020

Yesterday our football team played against Our Lady’s Primary as part of the Small School League. From the very beginning, the game was evenly matched with both teams playing extremely well. In the first half we had many shots on goal, with two almost going in! In the second half St Anselm’s tightened up their passing, enabling them to score the winning goal. It was a great game to watch. Well done St Anselm’s!
