PRIDE in all we do

At St Anselm’s, we place an emphasis on praising good behaviour as well as promoting high academic achievement and developing social skills that will enable our children to become successful members of society. We aim to provide a safe, calm and compassionate family community where every child is able to strive for excellence in all that they do.

Here at St Anselm’s the School Council have worked together to develop a set of School Values:

Personal Excellence

Respect and Friendship

Inspiration

Determination and Courage

Equality.

The Pride values stand in place of a set of school rules; they are expectations of how all members of our school community will behave.  Everyone in our school knows what each of these values mean. They are helping us to be proud of ourselves, not only as members of our School Community but also as members of our Local and Global Community.

The Behaviour Policy provides clear guidance on the behaviour that is expected in our school, how inappropriate behaviour is managed and how behaviour that meets and exceeds the expectations is rewarded.

These are the Pride Values at St Anselm’s. The children worked together in our Key Stage Assemblies to define each of the values.

The values and their definitions are reviewed each year by the children and any changes are discussed and made where necessary.
