Encouraging participation
Parents in School
We encourage parents to help with various aspects of learning in school. They are also encouraged to escort small groups on class trips.
A small working party of parents has worked with the Senior Leadership Team to support parents across the school with online safety. They have produced newsletters and held information sessions on this important aspect of safeguarding our children when they are online.
Home-School Agreement
This is given to all new parents as their children start school. It indicates the ways that parents and the school can support each other to provide the best for the child. Parents are asked to sign the agreement, return a copy to school and keep their own copy at home.
Special Events
During the year we organise special school events which encourage the involvement of parents:
- School information sessions
- Class assemblies
- School Masses in St Vincent's Church
- Concerts
- Stations of the Cross at St Vincent’s Church during Lent
- Sports fixtures and clubs
- Power Hour
