At St Anselm’s we recognise and appreciate that each child is unique - both in their individual personalities and in their capacity to learn. We strive to ensure that all children have the same opportunities and that barriers to learning are removed along their journey through school. We have high expectations of all of our children and encourage them, working closely with parents and carers, to achieve to the best of their abilities in all aspects of school life.
We aim to ensure that all of our children make good progress, measured from their individual starting points. Each child on the special needs register has a personalised learning plan to ensure to ensure that pupils, parents and staff are fully involved in setting achievable but aspirational targets throughout the year.
