St Anselm's Catholic Primary School Inspire to Aspire
Y6 Marians
Having undertaken training in the summer term of Y5, all of our Y6 children are 'Marians'.
Inspired by Mary, who had no hesitation in serving God, they plan and lead liturgies for children across the school every Friday morning.
Using the Let Us Pray 2gether resource, children work in groups to choose a 'theme' and 'the word' central to their liturgy.
They then set about choosing appropriate activities for each of the four sections of the liturgy - gather; prepare for the word; response to the word; and mission.
Each week, before the Marians deliver their liturgy, they pray together to Our Lady, their patron.
