Meet With The Teacher Information

Homework

All homework runs from Monday to Monday. 

 

New spellings are available on Edshed on Monday after schooland will be introduced in class on Tuesday. They will be tested the following Monday. A weekly maths and grammar task will also be set on Edshed.

 

Children are expected to read for 20 minutes and record it in their planner at least 5 times per week, and to play Times Tables Rock Stars (TTRS) for at least 21 minutes per week (3 minutes per day).

 

To summarise, children should complete 5 homework tasks per week:

  1. Reading
  2. Times Tables Rock Stars
  3. Spelling
  4. Grammar
  5. Maths

PE

Our PE lesson takes place on a Friday. For the first half of the year, this is a swimming lesson at Fairfield pool. After February half term, we will continue our PE learning in school. We wear our PE kits to school every Friday.
