Fantastic Fred Experience
We had the pleasure of having the Fantastic Fred experience visit our school to deliver performances to every year group. Fantastic Fred and his professor taught children how to look after their own mental health in a positive and memorable way.
F.R.E.D is an acronym for the four practical ways in which children can help to look after their own good mental heath:
Food – eating the right foods
Rest – getting enough sleep
Exercise – being active
Digital Devices – managing time online
If you would like to know how you can continue to explore this learning at home, please watch the video via the link below.
At St Anselm's we commit to making it our priority to promote resilience and positive wellbeing for all of our pupils and staff. We strive to create an environment which enables staff and children to feel comfortable and safe to discuss wellbeing and seek or accept support when needed. Our aim is to provide a curriculum where, together with our Catholic ethos, good emotional and physical wellbeing, and positive mental health are at the heart of the spirit and culture of our school.
