We've had a fantastic last full day here at Marchant's Hill.

We've faced a leap of faith on the trapeze, had to work as a team to get to the top of Jacob's ladder, refined our map reading skills in orienteering and got adventurous on the challenge course.

We then very much enjoyed getting all dressed up for tonight's disco to see our final night out in style!

We have been so proud of all the children during our time here. It has been a whole week of LORIC learning, with the children particularly showing a huge amount of resilience. To top it off, we were told by our group leader that we are the best school she has ever worked with! A lot to celebrate on our final night here. Now, to pack and get ready for our final morning of activities before the journey home!

    What a brilliant day!

We've had a jam-packed day full of abseiling, zip-wiring, buggy building and aeroball. We've been complimented by every instructor regarding how polite we are and how well we listen to instructions which we are very proud of. We finished the day off with games, songs and letters from home around the campfire, accompanied by delicious, toasted marshmallows.

Looking forward to our last full day of activities tomorrow.

After what has been a busy day, there are some very tired children here at PGL this evening.

We scaled great heights on both the climbing wall and the giant swing; we all approached the challenges with courage and determination to get as high as we could.

We also had to use teamwork and communication skills during problem solving and tried to improve our aim in rifle shooting.

We enjoyed a delicious meatball and pasta dinner and played a game of capture the flag before bed!

We have a feeling that lots of us will be sleeping well tonight!

    Hello from PGL 2019!

What a great first day! We've all settled in to our rooms (albeit after a few unpacking lessons) and have been given the grand tour of the site.

After enjoying our fish finger dinner, we're now war-painted up and playing ambush in the woods...looking forward to a fun-packed day of activities tomorrow!
