    Well done to the children in Year 4 who took us all on a trip around Europe, sharing their detailed research about its many countries, geographical features and traditions.

    Today we enjoyed a special Pirate Lunch with our friends. Thank you to everyone who joined in and especially to all those children who made or wore their own pirate hat!

  • Author Inspiration

    Today, Key Stage 2 were visited by the author G.B. Strong, who gave us fascinating insights into the inspiration behind his writing. He led a fun, interactive assembly and then inspired the children to come up with a fantastic range of story ideas when visiting each class, giving excellent advice on creativity and story writing.

     

    Here are a couple of things the children said about the visit.

     

    ‘He really inspired me to not just go straight into a story but actually take my time.’

     

    ‘He was really passionate and happy about what he has done and made me feel like I want to write books.’
