St Anselm's Catholic Primary School Inspire to Aspire
Author Inspiration
Today, Key Stage 2 were visited by the author G.B. Strong, who gave us fascinating insights into the inspiration behind his writing. He led a fun, interactive assembly and then inspired the children to come up with a fantastic range of story ideas when visiting each class, giving excellent advice on creativity and story writing.
Here are a couple of things the children said about the visit.
‘He really inspired me to not just go straight into a story but actually take my time.’
‘He was really passionate and happy about what he has done and made me feel like I want to write books.’
